Paolo Rumiz, a famous Italian author, wrote in 2011 a book intitled “Annibale un viaggo”. It was translated in French with the name “L’ombre d’Hannibal” (unfortunately not in Spanish as far as I know!). This book is the journey of the author through Europe in order to visit famous places where Hannibal has gone and to feel the spirit of Hannibal. It’s also the story of meetings with people. A great book to read if you want to discover Hannibal’s legend!

An amazing trip at the heart of Italian regions which hosted the Roman-Carthaginian conflict, in search of the memory of these events through people, toponymies, orography, and the stories of ancient authors. An exciting discovery of Italy, and certainly a very good opportunity to read Italian or French in a beautiful writing.
