CEIP Vicente Ros is a public bilingual school located in Cartagena, Murcia. There are around 450 students from kindergarten to Primary Education and 35 teachers. The school has facilities such as 2 classrooms prepared for digital education, a lunchroom, a library, a gym, and a chess club. It also has two playgrounds with an orchard, inclusive games, an outside class, picnic tables, a park, table tennis tables, a sports field, etc. We are also working on “The classroom of the future” with different stations to work on research, science, experiments, and languages. We plan to start using it during this scholar year.

Our school is involved in different projects, aimed at having students involved with the SDGs, as well as with their closest environment and knowledgeable about the proper use of technologies. Our students are from 3 to 12 years old. We will focus on students between 9 and 12 years, from 4th grade to 6th grade. Our goal is to give all the students the opportunity to learn from this project, paying special attention to those with more vulnerability, such as students with learning difficulties, low economic levels, at risk of social exclusion, etc.
In our school every child matters, we want to help our students to find their best potential and we take into account their different needs in our educational practices. We have been working with the Association “Erasmus in Schools” which has helped our students to be more aware of different cultures and improve their sense of tolerance and respect among others. Last year we joined the Ambassador School Network, and our commitment is to lead our students to a greater sense of culture, partnership, and cooperation within Europe.
