The Collège François Raspail of Carpentras is one of the French schools in the BESH project ambassadorial network. He has just completed a successful mobility at the San Vicente de Paúl school in Cartagena, with the active support of the BESH project actors. After a not so simple preparation, Victoria Donadio Corrales, Spanish teacher, was able to accompany her students to discover Cartagena, its history and heritage.
Let’s hear from Victoria:
“Our trip to Cartagena was a complete success. The reception of the San Vicente de Paúl school, the hosting teacher Emma Zamora on site and the Spanish students were very friendly and the integration of the students from Carpentras was top. They practiced the language a lot and made friends. From the Federación de Tropas y Legiones de las Fiestas de Cartagineses y Romanos de Cartagena (FTyL) too, it was great! They received us very well, they made our stay much easier and we did some very nice activities thanks to them (including a tour in the bay of Cartagena by catamaran that they offered us). The students from Carpentras presented a play (in French and Spanish) based on the comic strip “Aníbal, la gesta europea” at the school in Cartagena. Mr. Lazaro Garcia presented the FTyL and attended the show. He was seduced by the involvement of the students. They were really into their performance. The students and parents were delighted with our trip.”
Congratulations to Victoria and her students!
