The coordination team from Cartagena visited 11 schools in the municipality of
Cartagena during the months of November and December, which formed the network
of BESH project ambassadors. These schools are: CEIPs San Isidoro and Virginia
Pérez (both from El Algar), San Félix, San Fulgencio (Pozo Estrecho), Jose Mª
LaPuerta, Félix Rguez de la Fuente (Los Nietos), Azorín (Molinos Marfagones),
Virgen del Carmen and La Concepción; and the Hispania and San Vicente de Paul
Colleges.
As a novelty, this year has been incorporated a school of the municipality of La
Union (CEIP Ginés Cabezos de Roche), where are found the mining sites that at the
time of the second Punic war were under the influence of Cartagena.
Next January, the visit will be made to the two schools in Cartagena (CEIPs San
Isidro de Los Belones and Asdrúbal), which requested to postpone this first visit for
organizational reasons.
The meeting presented the objectives of this activity and offered advice on specific
initiatives and activities that each school would like to develop (each school is
different and must tackle this activity according to its own characteristics).
We invited to participate in the activity of Anibal Day 2025 as a culmination of the
activities that will develop throughout the second quarter. They were also offered the
possibility to collaborate on the Dossier of the Route of Anibal by developing various
markers of Geoproject.

All of them expressed their willingness to both proposals. We agreed that meetings
would be held in January to work out the two issues.
